Signing up for season 2 of the official kaos league launches now, you can express your will of joining this event here and also take part in a discussion.

SEASON 2 will start on 1st January 2015 and will last until the end of March. There will be 2 events run simultaneously (tournament and classic league), with a possibility to play in both formats or just in tournament (groups format). Money prize for best 3 players of each format. Details about calculation of these prizes are explained in following posts.

The suggested changes to be implemented for season 2:

Scheme

- Ninja Rope will be low-powered to 1 (meaning limited angle and 1 shot only).

General organisation

- Amount of hosting players extended (Kayz & nickynick). Also Hurz & LeTotalKiller offered this, but we will see how many players will join the event and will this be necessary.

- Each hosting player will have to provide exact game-format as well as spectate all games carefully to apply point awards.

- Hosting player's games will have to be hosted by any other hosting player, so no game remains unspectated. This is to make the crashing situation more clear and also not to make the hosting player's job more difficult (applying points)

- Hosting players will report to me directly after each game.

Point awards

- The roundtimes will now be defined as the "team vanishing sound moment"


If you have any more scheme, organisation or game setup format related suggestions please post them here and they will be discussed.

I suggest coming up with the more cool point awards ideas as well as the unification of the crashing regulations as this seems to be the biggest problem for now.

impo has withdrawn from season 1 due to busy time and lack of playing possibilities until the end of year. There are only 29 games to be played until 21st December. The gamecount remains unaffected (46 games played so far), but 3 games vs impo were deducted from both mine and Kayz's earnings so all will have exact 16 games amount at the end.

There are 43 valid results so far (of 72 games to be played, but the last game number will be 75 - don't want to mess up with the current order as last game was 46th played game).

Games that were arranged and requested, but didn't take place (1 game so far between LeTotalKiller and philie as well as interrupted / crashed matches) have the priority.

Try to come up with specific time of playing your games (and post the pre-arranged game's hours in GMT so all can see them), so it's easier for me and everyone else scheduling them, so noone will have to wait while other games are being hosted. Delays to that may sometimes occur due to unwanted crashes and possible long-length of some games. Have in mind that until the end of this season I must manage to host all the games there are to be played still.

The return! An awesome game overall, started off with a fantastic pressure by Berria who pretty quickly took the 2-0 lead, but not only thanks to his superb performance, but also some mistakes by Alien. Game turned in Round 3, Kaos darkside begun and no other than the veteran alien handled it better, patience and cold blooded heart helped him to equalize and eventually clinch off a win in decider round by 3 worms advantage.

Season 2 sign-ups as well as the consultation thread to make the event even more popular and professional (for future plans, new award ideas and changes requests) will begin on 1st December.

The idea of this is to play 2v2 games with same rules and formula as 1v1 official league (with 4+4 worms per team).

5 games max per player, each of these games with diffferent teampartner (unless games with same teampartner are lost, then first won match together lock that pair for surrent season). Also no exact 2v2 match can be also played twice within same season.

Gaining personal points for team achievements.

At the end a final match for top 4 players with prize for winners.
